I was shocked and horribly saddened by Dumbeldore's death at the end of HBP, and I had to do a commemoration peice. Rowling did a stupendous job setting the stage for book seven. Harry is now more of a man than he ever was before, with all his guardians dead, he plans to face the challenges before him alone (before Ron and Hermione informed him they were accompanying him of course). I thought I should show Harry during his final send-off to Dumbledore. I played with the idea of putting Ginny in with him, but it seemed more fitting that Harry be alone, as I saw him at the end of the book. It occured to me that it might have been a stronger image if he bore the locket aswell, but the idea came about 10 seconds ago so... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
