SPOILERS FOR GOBLET OF FIRE, OOTP and HBP AHOY! Wow, is all I can say. I dont think Ive ever seen a more off tone adaptation ever. Having been reasonably entertained and pleased with the first three films, I was expecting a Alfonso Cuory-ish representation of Goblet that skipped out on many of the unimportant details but attempted to keep the "flavor" of the imagery and put the characters in the same emotional standpoints. This, however, was not what I got. Mike Newell's Goblet is more of a cliffnotes version of the book, giving you a 15 second clip of a scene before rushing on to the next.
